The photography of Professor Steve Austin was made with that understanding in mind. These are not decorative images selected for color compatibility or subject matter. They are archival, limited edition landscape photographs grounded in the psychology of restorative environments, designed to reduce mental noise, restore directed attention, and create spaces that feel genuinely different to be in.

Presentations

Each image is finished to the standards that demanding residential and hospitality environments require, and is offered in four presentations.

Collector's Choice pairs Lumachrome TruLife® Acrylic with a handcrafted Italian ROMA frame and a linen liner, with the series, finish, and liner chosen for the image and the room.

Signature Edition in acrylic is face-mounted to TruLife® and floated approximately one inch from the wall, frameless, for contemporary and architectural interiors.

Signature Edition in metal is a ChromaLuxe panel with the image infused into the aluminum itself, floated on a concealed system. No glazing, exceptional durability, and the right choice for circulation spaces and rooms with variable light.

Fine Art Edition is printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta and supplied unmounted, allowing framing to be specified to the project.

Editions and Project Work

A single work for a private residence is acquired as a limited edition in the usual way, numbered and certified. Multi-piece and program installations are handled separately, outside the edition structure, so a specification can be repeated across a project without drawing down a collector edition.

Professor Austin works directly with designers and architects on project based commissions, offering consultation on image selection, scale, placement, and the psychological function of specific works within specific spaces. Pricing for project work is handled through direct conversation rather than published rates.
