Weeping Wall
Watkins Glen, New York
ARTIST’S STORY
Not all water falls the same way.
At Watkins Glen in the Finger Lakes region of New York, the water does not plunge or crash or announce itself with the kind of force that demands your immediate attention. It descends. Slowly, deliberately, in multiple streams that find their own paths down the layered shale face, following the edges and contours of the rock with a gentleness that feels almost intentional. As if the water and the stone have reached an agreement over centuries about how this particular descent should be conducted.
I moved in close on this day. The wider view was beautiful but it was the detail that held me, the way each stream of water caressed the rock edges as it passed, the way the layered shale caught and redirected the flow in ways that were never quite the same twice, the way the long exposure collapsed all of that movement into something between silk and light against the dark wet stone. The tighter crop was not a compositional choice so much as an honest one. This is what deserved to be seen.
What I remember most is the sound. Not the roar of a powerful falls but something quieter and more complex, the layered conversation of multiple streams moving over rock at different speeds and volumes, filling the canyon with a natural acoustics that the mind receives not as noise but as relief. Research on the psychological effects of natural water sounds consistently finds that they reduce cortisol levels, lower heart rate, and produce measurable states of calm within minutes of exposure. Standing before the Weeping Wall I understood this not as data but as direct experience.
There is something in the image of a wall that releases rather than holds that speaks to something most of us carry. The places in ourselves where we have been holding too long, where the accumulated weight of experience has been pressing against surfaces that were never designed to contain it indefinitely. The rock does not resist the water. It simply allows the release, slowly and continuously, along every available edge and surface, until the weight of what was held becomes the beauty of what flows.
The Weeping Wall is a reminder that release is not weakness. It is what stone does when it has held long enough. It is what we do too, when we finally allow it.
Each image is released in limited editions, with edition size set by presentation and scale, so the most substantial works remain the most rare.

Italian Roma Frame with TRULIFE® Acrylic | Museum Framed

Collector's Choice
Collector Edition of 25 · Lumachrome TruLife Acrylic · Roma Elite Frame
This is the complete expression of the work. The image, the materials, and the frame exist not as separate components assembled for presentation but as a unified object designed to change how a room feels to be in.
The foundation is Lumachrome TruLife® Acrylic, a chromogenic photographic medium that renders color, depth, and tonal range with a fidelity that conventional printing cannot approach. Light interacts with the image surface in a way that gives the work an inner presence, a quality of being illuminated from within.
The handcrafted Italian wood frame by ROMA Moulding is finished with a customizable linen liner selected to complement each image without competing with it. The choice of natural materials is not a finishing detail. It is a continuation of the work's intention.
The liner and frame add approximately fourteen inches to the finished dimensions and should be considered when planning wall placement. Lumachrome TruLife® Acrylic carries a lifetime guarantee against fading and deterioration under normal display conditions.
If your space calls for dimensions beyond those listed, that conversation is always welcome before an order is placed.
Collector Edition of 25 Each image exists as twenty five prints in this presentation, worldwide. When the edition is filled, it closes permanently.
TruLife® Acrylic Fine Art Prints | Gallery Float Mount

Signature Edition
Signature Edition of 50 · Lumachrome TruLife Acrylic · Gallery Float Mount
Some images do not need a frame. They need only a wall and the space to be fully themselves.
The Gallery Float Mount presents the work in its most direct form, face-mounted to Lumachrome TruLife® Acrylic and suspended approximately one inch from the wall. There is no frame to mediate between the image and the room. The clean acrylic edge becomes an architectural element in its own right.
Lumachrome TruLife® renders color, depth, and tonal range with a fidelity that conventional printing cannot approach. Under halogen lighting the work responds with a radiant, glowing quality, as though the landscape itself were the source of the light rather than its subject. The acrylic is UV-resistant, anti-reflective, and scratch-resistant, and carries a lifetime guarantee against fading and deterioration under normal display conditions.
For collectors drawn to the contemporary and the architectural, or for institutional environments where a frameless presence is the right formal choice, this is the presentation that allows the psychological work of the image to operate without interruption.
Free shipping is included within the contiguous United States. Please allow three to four weeks for production and delivery. For international inquiries, please use the contact page.
If none of the sizes listed suit your space precisely, that conversation is always welcome before an order is placed.

Chromaluxe Metal Fine Art Prints | Gallery Float Mount

Signature Edition · Metal
Signature Edition of 50 · ChromaLuxe Metal Print · Gallery Float Mount
Metal responds to light differently than any other surface in this collection. Where acrylic produces luminosity and paper produces warmth, metal produces clarity, a cool, precise rendering of color and form that suits certain images and certain spaces in ways the other presentations do not.
ChromaLuxe aluminum panels receive color as an integral part of the material itself, giving the finished work exceptional resistance to fading with no additional glazing or protective coating required. The image is fully present and unmediated, and the aluminum surface responds to ambient light in a way that shifts subtly across the day.
For collectors drawn to the contemporary and the precise, or for architectural environments where the graphic qualities of the landscape matter as much as its atmosphere, this is a presentation that is both visually commanding and materially uncompromising. The panel floats from the wall on a concealed aluminum system, frameless and complete.

Fine Art Paper

Fine Art Edition
Fine Art Edition of 100 · Hahnemühle Baryta Fine Art Paper
Paper has its own kind of authority. It is the medium through which the long tradition of fine art printmaking has always spoken, and this option brings that tradition forward without compromising it.
Printed without acrylic, light interacts directly with the paper surface, producing a refined, tactile quality that the other presentations approach differently. Highlights remain luminous, shadows retain subtle nuance, and each image carries a quiet depth that rewards close, unhurried attention in a way that is particular to paper as a medium.
For collectors drawn to the understated, or those beginning their relationship with this collection, the fine art print offers the same archival standard and the same psychological intention as every other work in the catalog. The image is the same. The care with which it was made is the same. What differs is the surface through which it speaks.
Free shipping is included within the contiguous United States. Please allow three to four weeks for production and delivery. For international inquiries, please use the contact page.
Custom dimensions are available. If your space requires something not listed, please reach out before placing an order.
Fine Art Edition of 100 Each image exists as one hundred prints in this presentation, worldwide. When the edition is filled, it closes permanently.
